Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 (MOSS) and the new open source Accessibility Kit for SharePoint (AKS) will be one of the solutions demonstrated at this event for Ministers and leaders from across Europe. The AKS (http://aks.hisoftware.com) was developed by HiSoftware in collaboration with Microsoft as an add-on pack for Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 to provide accessibility and usability enhancements for MOSS.

The event is organized jointly by the Portuguese Government and the European Commission, and will bring Ministers and leaders in the field of e-Inclusion together to consider key aspects and challenges. The main themes for this event are: Economics of e-Inclusion, e-Accessibility Legislation, Digital Literacy and Competences, and Active Ageing at Work.
